A Letter For Five Faces From Five Places
I look through your eyes in my memories. Hi. I see you hiding in there. Come out. Square blocks pushing though round holes. I know you know it's absurd. Remember the time you broke the hands of the time watcher, who ticks away our lives, count by count? Yeah I remember that too. You ran down to the old Green Bean Café and swore on your knees that you will never EVER have time tame you again. Did that happen? Were you triumphant in your breaking hands, and twisting arms? Did you live past 3:00am? I think of you every now and then, when I hear THAT song we sung. Nobody heard it. We sung so loud humans couldn't hear it. I wonder if you ever started that riot you wanted to only to then live underground and never come out. I swore to walk all over the park to lift up the sheet of earth and hoping I would find you laughing when I found you, like a funny Halloween décor skull. I'm sorry I forgot to do so. I had got too tied down with things like time hands that I didn't break, and being lost in the riot crowds. I didn't know which was you with so much ski mask glamour, and megaphone mouths. I fell into a bottle and out the other side hazy and lost you by the way side.
