Rain Flavoured
There are reflections on the road journeying in flashes wet with cool asphalt. Stories on the faces of the travelers commuting homesick cars along the downtown street. I watch above from my window, catching the faces of the humans inside their metal shells. They run like yolks all the way down the highway. Tonight rain is a cleanser. A much needed restorer from dry spark playgrounds that go up in flames, melting stars to liquid sterling drippings. Singe the earth to its core. Until we walk under water, we will have to endure fire. Live along side it until we evolve gills. I turn to you. Remember how you love rain on candy, and my lips. I give you 'that' look.
